Map of the EU — the European Union countries in brief.

Austria, capital is Vienna and their language is German. It became member of EU since 1 January 1995 and using Euro as currency. It is the member of Schengen from 1 December 1997.

Belgium’s capital is Brussels, they speak in Dutch, French and German. Became member since 1 January 1958 and using Euro from 1 January 1999 and became Schengen area from 26 March 1995.

Bulgaria’s capital is Sofia and they speak in Bulgarian language. They became EU member since 1 January 2007. They use Bulgarian Lev BGN as their currency and assured to use Euro. They are getting ready to join in Schengen area.

Croatia is another EU country whose capital is Zagreb and their language is Croatian. They became EU member since 1 July 2013. Their currency is Croatian Kuna HRK. It has committed to use Euro. It is not still the member of Schengen.
